Living life in the small small world

Living life in the small small world
Stolling along the sun kissed beach, kicking pebbles as I walk in this small yet cosy world of my own, shut out from the harsh reality of the outside world; I live my life in this small enclosed world.

Noobie trying on blogging

First Blog! haha! Hurray!

Though this is MY first blog, it is my second time blogging. My first time was on my class blog and it was a slip short one, so I'll remedy it with an ultra long posts here! Anyway, its my blog so I can do anything I want. Well, mostly anything actually. haha!

I've got no idea what to write cuz confidence was never part of my life, really. So I guess I'll just pen down the little happenings of my life for a start.

I think I'll just write about the things I did this week. Actually, there aren't much, I guess.

OBS
I went to OBS for five days (monday-friday) with some of my schoolmates (Shi Hua, Jian Hui, Yann Ming, Brian, Kah Hwee, Syazwan and Jeremy) and "members of the public" (Neil, Samantha, Yu Rong, Faiz, Johari and Yong Kian). We did a little of everything - high ropes, trekking, kayaking, leading, trustfalls, team bonding and staying in tents. Basically, we did stuff you would do in any back-to-basics camp. What makes this camp different is that the facilitator is more of a phantom, watching over us, while we "ran the show" (quoted from Steven, our camp facilitator). Steven is a great guy! He was always trying his best to make our stay wonderful - long expeditions, interesting activities, you name it.
I love Day 5 of the camp because that was when you see everyone coming together, chatting and laughing. Maybe because it was the last day already. The last day in Ubin with 13 other people; people who became our friends. Friends who braved through thick and thin TOGETHER.
Yup Yup, so I would say I brought home with mua the faces and names of my friends from Marco Polo and all the joys we've had. Lest will I forget those fun times picking on SAMANTHA CH'NG CHENG YI, a nice girl with a nice tan (really, she's a nice person, with a nice tan. Its a compliment. No form of sacarsm. No really, Not even a tiny bit. hahhahaha!)

Metro-SIF-PJC
I signed up for this Metro-SIF project, a fund-raising project which helps needy children in Cambodia. This project has been on for years but this is the first time PJC is doing this project though. I'm tasked to run the Santa & Me booth which was rather nice, cuz photography is something I can handle much much better than talking. Also, I took the opportunity and photographed myself cuz i wanted a picture of the tanned me for keepsake! haha.. Of course, I paid for the picture just like every one else; and I took it after my shift. So i guess i didn't flout any rules, I hope.

Okay, that's all from me, for now. haha.. There's still a shift of Santa & Me waiting for me tomorrow. hahha..

Goodie Night!
